In a bid to comprehensively enhance production efficiency and strengthen the foundation of quality management, Beijing Tongzhou Weipu Technology Co., Ltd. recently launched a synchronized 6S management training program for all employees at its two production bases in Yanjiao, Hebei, and Tianjin. The training covers all departments, including production, warehousing, and administration, with the goal of creating a first-class manufacturing environment that is efficient, safe, and clean through standardized and refined management. This initiative aims to provide customers with higher-quality chiller products and services.

6S management (Sorting, Straightening, Sweeping, Sanitizing, Self-discipline, and Safety) is a core tool for lean management in the manufacturing industry. The company has a complete R&D, production, sales, and service system. It has passed the ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 certifications. The company's R&D and production processes strictly follow the ISO 9001 quality management system. All products are independently developed with proprietary intellectual property rights, and many have obtained CE certification, being exported to more than 50 countries and regions. For this training, the company invited a team of senior industry consultants to systematically guide employees through the entire process optimization, from the positioning of production tools and classification of material storage to the identification of safety hazards, using a combination of theoretical teaching, on-site practice, and case studies.

The Yanjiao and Tianjin factories are advancing in tandem to ensure consistent management standards and enhance cross-regional collaboration.

Targeting Pain Points and Precision Improvement

Customized rectification plans have been developed to address specific issues such as disorganized tools on the chiller assembly line and low utilization of warehouse space.

Full Participation and Cultural Integration

A “6S Red Card Campaign” has been established to encourage employees to identify and improve problems, embedding the lean management philosophy deeply into the corporate culture.

Beijing WIIP will continue to deepen 6S management and plans to conduct a phased acceptance assessment at the end of this quarter. It will also select “6S Benchmark Workshops” to promote best practices throughout the entire supply chain system.
