Recently, Beijing WIIP Technology Co., Ltd. successfully completed the installation and commissioning of a dedicated chiller for the Anton Paar XRD system. The installation site presented several environmental constraints and limited coordination from the laboratory. Nevertheless, the WIIP team efficiently completed the work through a standardized and disciplined process:
Pre-survey and Planning
Engineers visited the site to confirm the XRD layout, workspace, and cooling water connections. The chiller position was planned to ensure a ≤1.5 m water circuit distance to minimize heat loss. Electrical load and pipe fittings were verified in advance to eliminate potential risks.
Precise Installation
The chiller was carefully positioned and leveled using professional tools to ensure smooth water circulation. High-pressure-resistant tubing and dual sealing (“sealant + clamp”) were applied, followed by pressure testing to guarantee zero leakage and a clean, professional appearance.
Performance Verification & User Training
After startup, a one-hour monitoring test showed temperature stability within ±1°C and water circulation pressure of 0.5–0.6 MPa, meeting the operational requirements of the XRD system. WIIP engineers also trained lab staff on operation and routine inspection, ensuring reliable long-term use.
